Guardians of the Galaxy #2 hits stands this Wednesday February 19th, 2020 and just two issues in, seems there are already sacrifices being made.

The Guardians were sought out by Nova after the Gods of Olympus have awoken and are war hungry.

On a stealth mission to Olympus to stop them, they find themselves in a pickle on the floating city....  

Here are the final panes in true spoiler fashion after the team manages to get back to their ship minus one occupant who makes the decision to stay behind to stop the Gods at all costs..

We all know deaths don't mean much nowadays. We'll have to see how this one plays out though in the following issues. Quill is a sly type of guy, perhaps he knew a way out while still achieving his goal setting off the bomb.
